About this movie

InterReflections explores deep social issues. In three timelines our main story takes us into the future when ecological crisis and inequality has destabilized society. John Taylor, a defected government intelligence agent turned revolutionary leader, is captured by his former colleague and nemesis, Simon Devoe. Simon leads a government spy agency, encouraging John to join him to avoid punishment. Simon humors John as they debate ideas about humanity, seeing no possibility of John's escape. But John has a secret. Our second timeline follows a woman in modern day, experiencing life as a horror show, reflecting issues such as racism and environmental destruction. Fired from her job, she sets about finding another. Her journey transforms her. Timeline three takes place 100 years forward as four academics of this future talk about the way things used to be in the early 21st century. They speak of "The Great Transition", a dramatic global revolution that changed everything for the better.

After watching Zeitgeist Addendum so many years ago I never thought I will ever watch a better movie, but InterReflection is just... "Spoilers ahead" Brilliant opening scene, the music is so powerful and pivotal, literally mind-blown from the start! The three stories are made so well, a mix of sci-fi, documentary and art merged into one with such technique that reminded me of the great David Lynch. The crucial difference here is that you actually have an overview of the past, present and future of humankind and it is not just some imaginative story like most movies. The actors are brilliant, I liked how the movie stopped at some point and one of them asked for a break which brought us back to "behind the scenes" and gave us perspective of how difficult was to make this movie. Another good moment was when the other actor on the table was talking about the activist community and said movies will be made, then stopped and looked at the camera that actually made you feel part of the movie, which you are because what they are talking about is what is happening in real life, reality and movie mixed together. I loved the art scenes especially the one in the office, no dialogues needed you just watch it and everything comes together naturally. A pure form of high class art making. There is not one single weak spot in this movie, everything from start to finish was done astonishingly well and after all these years of waiting I can say it was all worth it. Hopefully there will be a sequel at some point, although I know how hard was to make this one by following the regular updates, but the end result is just one of a kind. Well done Peter and everyone involved, keep it up!
