About this movie

The Burning Train" is a 1980 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Ravi Chopra. The movie tells the story of a train named the Super Express that catches fire en route from Delhi to Mumbai, putting the lives of all its passengers in danger. The train is carrying a number of important personalities, including the Indian Defense Minister, who are on their way to attend a function. The fire is caused by a short circuit in the engine room, and soon the entire train is engulfed in flames. The railway officials and the local authorities try to control the fire, but their efforts prove to be in vain. The passengers are left to fend for themselves as the train hurtles towards disaster. Meanwhile, a retired railway employee named Vinod Verma (Dharmendra) takes it upon himself to try and stop the burning train. Along with a few other passengers, he comes up with a daring plan to uncouple the front section of the train from the rest and stop it from crashing. The movie follows the passengers' struggle for survival and Vinod's heroic efforts to save the train and its passengers from certain death. Will they be able to save the passengers, or will the burning train spell doom for everyone on board? The answer lies in the thrilling climax of the movie.
