Gavin Stone (Brett Dalton, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) is a former child star whose hard-partying ways get him in trouble, forcing him to do 200 hours of community service at a church in his hometown. Gavin pretends to be a Christian to land the part of Jesus in the church's annual Passion Play and discovers that the most important role of his life is far from Hollywood in this inspirational comedy about faith, forgiveness and second chances from the director of What If…. Also starring Neil Flynn (The Middle), D.B. Sweeney (The Cutting Edge) and WWE legend Shawn Michaels. - ( Original Title - The Resurrection of Gavin Stone )

This movie is super slow and boring, the story has been done many times, there's no reason to see it again unless it's actually interesting or funny, this movie is neither,

Very good. I felt like crying when "Jesus" walked out of that "tomb". The ladies seemed to be modestly dressed. I recall no offensive innuendos, nor a bad word. I want to see more movies like this!

Rotten tomatoes hates Christian films. So pay no mind to their scored. They often put porno films at 90% score or more. They even scored 1 Hollywood movie with a 93 that put children into sexual situations. This movie here is wonderful. Boycott rotten tomatoes
