Not a Hemingway fan, not interested in toxic masculinity, male egotism or narcissism. If Hemingway had been a real man, he would have stayed married to Martha Gellhorn, but he couldn't stand being married to a talented, intelligent journalist, so he just got drunk and found himself a more submissive woman in typical Hemingway, predatory fashion.

An incredible documentary, it provides - in characteristic Burns style - an intense and engaging perspective on the life of its subject. One feels a sense of building anticipation for the inevitable throughout, guided on by a beautiful soundtrack.
