When Kenny Gaines met Giselle Xavier he described it as Aurora - a natural electrical phenomenon characterized by streams of light in the sky - and after less than six months he asked her to be his wife. The happy couple travels to Puerto Rico for an intimate wedding ceremony in front of their closest friends and family. Kenny's family have their doubts about Giselle, his older sister Leah is most skeptical. She peppers Giselle with questions and inconsistent answers begin to raise suspicions. Giselle's best friend Nina has her own questions about Kenny's motives. The happy, island vibe grows tense as the ceremony grows closer. On the day of the wedding, Christmas Eve, Giselle goes missing on the island. What began as a fun, family film shifts to a suspenseful "who done it?!" The bridal party and Kenny's family blame each other for Giselle's disappearance and secrets are exposed on both sides. All Kenny desires is the love of his life but he learns quickly, love comes at a cost.
