Sally and Don's First Kiss

S3 E24: Don tries to kiss Sally while theyre out on a date, but she wont let him; he reminds her that theyve been dating for two years, and hes never been allowed to kiss her once. When Sally shares this information with the other aliens, Dick observes that romance seems to be missing from Sallys life and lends her a cheesy romance novel, which immediately captivates her. Dick feels persecuted by the cashier at the universitys cafeteria, because hes the only person who gets charged for crackers with his soup. Harry and his night school classmates are studying hard for their final exam, and all manage to pass. Sally and Don have a nighttime rendezvous at the Rutherford bluffs where they share their first kiss; Don is blown away, but Sally is severely under whelmed. Dick uses both charm and bribery on Lucy, the cashier, but to no avail; his crackers still cost twenty-five cents. Don tells Sally that her romance novels have nothing to do with real life, and they try another kiss, but again there are no fireworks. Dick tells Nina and Mary that he cant understand why Lucy doesnt like him. Mary tells him to grow up; not everyones going to love him all the time. But Mary sees things differently when she gets charged for crackers because shes crackerboys girlfriend. And Sally and Don finally find romance at the police horse stable.
