In 1918, the world-famous painter Gustav Klimt lay on his deathbed. Numerous affairs struck him with syphilis, but he was able to create a monument for himself during his lifetime with his controversial erotic art. In the last years of his life, Klimt met with many outstanding personalities, such as cinema pioneer George Méliès, fellow artist Egon Schiele, or a mysterious dancer who turned his head, all encounters that left a lasting mark on his life.
