Impatient with the pace of her recovery using ClearMind’s VR trigger therapy, Nora exploits a glitch in the program to disable her therapist’s ‘host mode’, taking control of the game - and the fate of the NPCs - herself. With her newly-claimed first-person powers, she's both omniscient player and puppet master, crafting their defense and their downfall -- vacillating between wistful memories and an insatiable need for revenge.
