One of the best movies ever. Great acting all around. Jason Scott Lee is so believable and delivers serious drama, humour and major romance. The best leading man of all time. The dance scene is so compelling for many reasons [don't want to spoil it]. You'll want to watch this movie over and over.

People who don't give this a good rating has never appreciated the greatness of this movie for its time....I watched this as a kid and I loved it. If it gives you nightmares then you are one weak pansy.

I think that, for the visual limitations of the time in which it was made, Disney couldn't have done a finer job than they did with this adaptation. Even the fact that Mowgli is an adult is an acceptable piece of the narrative. One of the best aspects is that it doesn't take itself too seriously; tugging at your heartstrings one moment, then cracking a joke at just the right time. Highly recommended for fans of the story.
