The movie scenary in time is excellent but the movie itself doesn't connects with the public, it's emotionless as if I was watching a documentary about the artist...it was cut short leaving out the adoption of his only child and life after...I felt that it could've been better made if their writers and directors were more concerned about making a more personal contact with its viewers rather than to make the escenography hollywood like...Cantinflas deserved deserved better than this!

Several good performances, especially from Oscar Jaenada in the lead role, but the narrative was too jumbled and the tone was a little too haltingly reverential to really coalesce into a compelling biography of the late, legendary performer. Entertaining and charming enough to leave you with a smile on your face, but ultimately the story the writer/director chose to tell lacked in the kind of drama or tension that would have elevated it into being anything truly special.

Despite porr reviews, I think the actor did a great job in portraying Cantinflas. It was dramatic bit not overtly so. You could say it might be the pg-13 version of his life. It certainly doesn't cover his entire life span, from birth till his death but it convers his start in performing up through his break through in the American film industry in "Around the world in 80 days"-"A pesar de ser tan pollo, tengo mas plumas que un gallo!!!"---hillarious ;)
