Solid reviews from horror websites such as Bloody Disgusting were what sent me to rent this. For those hoping for a diamond in the rough, like a Grave Encounters....this ain't it. Adds nothing to the found footage sub-genre except for all of the usual tropes.

The character of the podcaster is so annoying, always "on" and completely over the top that it detracts from the movie. Otherwise, if you can somehow get past "Mr. Annoying without an off switch," its not a bad movie.

The evil spirits are never really fleshed out, it was difficult to understand who or what they were afraid of. The film just kind of fell apart, I don't know what happened at the end. Oh well.
