Fugitive Girls

This film was written by AC Stephen and Ed D. Wood Jr. and directed by Stephen. It is noteworthy as this is Wood's last onscreen appearance, playing dual cameos as both the gas station attendant "Pops" and the sheriff (wearing dark shades and a fake mustache). It's a simple storyline: 5 women break out of prison (including Rene Bond) trying to find money one of the girls buried before being sent away. Four are hardened criminals. The 5th was unjustly convicted. Most of the film is spent with the girls traveling around California, encountering hippies, beating up men, and ultimately fighting among themselves.
