About this movie

A sports documentary highlighting pivotal moments of the century-old rivalry between Texas and Texas A&M. The last game played in 2011 effectively ended a Thanksgiving Day tradition for generations of Texans. Thanksgiving is about traditions yet greed, money, and power led to the dissolution of one of the greatest traditions of Thanksgiving and rivalries in college football history, Texas vs. Texas A&M. Neither school nor conference will let the game happen again.

Did the conflict begin over money? Was it the P.U.F which gave millions more to one university or the Longhorn Network opportunity that was too good to pass up that triggered the dissolution of the rivalry? Could there be too much animosity involved to make this game a reality?

Lone Star Holy War offers a historical review of the rivalry, interviews from former coaches and players, sports analysts and fans from the beginning to the end…or is it.
