BEST testimony against racism I've even seen in ANY movie! Some emotional parts, when he sees blatant racism. The part where his HATE turns into MERCY, as he watches a starving Okinawa family, instead of getting help - jump over a cliff, to their DEATHS!😭 HE'S now shocked into rememberance - of the LOVE shown him by his adopted Japanese American mother, father, and family!🤔 "Happy family," as his adopted mother said! I cry every time I think if it! 😪😥

A must see. A Mexican American, raised by a Japanese family. Enlist in the Marine Corp. Guy Gabaldon. His ability to speak the Japanese language saved thousands of lives on Saipan.
