Enemy Mine

[Potential spoiler in my comments] The true beauty of the movie is that the story is timeless. It is about enemies learning they hated each other for someone elses reasons. Even better, the alien character design takes race and gender out of the equation of the movie and leaves the viewer with a simple moral. Chose your enemies, or better yet, your friends, for yourself. Think for yourself.

I loved it as a pre-teen and still love it today. The concept of peace and love exists between not only race, but species. It doesn't matter how far apart we are, kindness will always save the day.

Watched it when I was a little girl with my Godmother (RIP). Loved it than and still love it now. I'm all grown up with my own little girl who is now just watching it. I have to show her the best movies I grew up with. Enemy Mine, Willow, Dark Crystal, Labyrinth. You know the Best.
