Pretty good movie. I think even without diving into every MCU property available it'd be pretty comprehensible, but I can't guarantee that. However, I pretty much have, and enjoyed the ride. The cast was good, the visuals were good, the characters were pretty clear, for the most part. Matter of fact, the closest I have to an issue with it is that now they can remove their helmets at any size. And I'm not really sure if that's an issue since I don't even know if there IS air in the quantum realm.

Really it's kind of dumb. Ant man and his family are supposedly stuck in the quantum realm, but they still have the tech with them to grow bigger again. So throughout the whole movie I'm stuck wondering why they don't just use their tech and get themselves out of there? Just dumb. And they spend most of the movie afraid of this one fool, but towards the end of the movie Ant Man uses his suit, grows much bigger and suddenly the fool is afraid of him. So I mean, what was the point of this movie?

..bad movie. I mean geez; I know Lucas' ILM does the effects but really; how many "star wars bar" scenes can you do? You barely notice Hope Van Dyne in the movie other than the haircut. Whatever "relationship" there is between Scott Lang and Cassie; wasn't explored at all. And as for Jonathan Majors as Kang? Pretty empty villain. He says "I know how it all ends; yet he fails to see Pym saving the day overrunning him with genetically evolved super ants". Quicksilver: "you didn't see that coming?"
