After watching an interview with Paul bettany I thought to myself I must see this movie. I have always been empathetic to homeless people but this movie is a must see to remind all of us that we are all in this world together and nobody should be invisible. So informative and very inspiring. This is a must see, and for his first time directing he simply nailed it. What a movie.

I found this movie in a used movie and record store and could not understand why until I read the description and saw it was about the homeless. To bad it did not have Will Smith as the main character as his homeless movie was about a man who made good for his Son to see that it doesn't matter about where you are in life, but what you do with what you have. A shame it was not played in any of the theatres in my area. It makes me sad that I found it at a used store so none of the proceeds went to the makers.

For the people who found nothing good to say about the story or the portrayals of such fine actors, shame on you.I had put off watching this wonderful movie, thought not my type. Found the movie to be heartfelt and charming.Good to see people of extremely different backgrounds, found the wonder in each other.Great performances.Crap to the man who took advantage of someone desperate to find an ounce of human kindness.
