It was good, although it was made during the era when digital CGI special effects was still evolving dominated by ILM. The story would have been better if the writers had refrained from imparting corny late 20th century popular culture into the script. So the jokes were already stale. As a last gasp for the original cast before expiring/retiring from acting and slumming the Cons as has beens. It was a good show. An essential last course for original cast aficionados. Also for OST enthusiasts A+

The movie itself is wonderful. This version, however, is junk as it does not include translations for the spoken Klingon parts which make up about a quarter of the movie, including key scenes the audience is supposed to be included in. Give this a pass and find the original theatrical release instead.
