About this movie

From Executive Producers Tim Tebow and Robby Tebow, Run the Race tells the story of two desperate brothers willing to sacrifice today for a better tomorrow. Reeling from his mother's death and his father's abandonment, Zach (Tanner Stine) finds glory on the football field, working to earn a college scholarship and the brothers' ticket out of town. But when a devastating injury puts Zach—and his dreams—on the sidelines, his brother David (Evan Hofer) laces up his track cleats to salvage their future and point Zach toward hope.

**Some spoilers ahead** I have mixed feelings about this movie because of the ending. Not only that, but the judgemental girlfriend rubbed me the wrong way. After Zack told her dad about his life and how he was wrestling with his faith, even her dad could compare with that and seemed to be willing to accept his honesty more than she was. I loved the brotherly bond, the humor, and how Zack finally found his faith and made peace with his dad, but...several other things just left me depressed.

Way too preachy. The girlfriend who judges her non-practicing boyfriend is simply awful, where's the tolorence and compassion ? When I thought they had hit the bottom of the barrel they come up with this contrived and eye rolling inducing ending. It makes absolutely no sense for the main character. With everything he's going and been through how can he suddenly be ok in such a short amount of time? Avoid this film at all cost!

3 and a half out of 5. It is ok for a little while with not too much power. As it goes along later, it does inspire well and the faith is stronger. The filming is a little low and the movie may be a little too quiet and all over the place. It should be more powerful all together with really going deeper into the faith because we all need Jesus and he is our only hope. I still felt lifted up by the film later on and it spoke to me well. I pray people will come to Jesus through this film.
