About this movie

Abbott and Costello portray private detectives in this fast-paced comic thriller. Recent detective school graduates Bud and Lou are minding their new business when accused killer Tommy Nelson (Arthur Franz) bursts into their office. Proclaiming his innocence, he convinces the two to get him to his beautiful fiancee Helen (Nancy Guild). Just as the police arrive to investigate, Tommy injects himself with invisibility serum being developed by Helen's uncle. Nelson convinces Lou to go undercover as a boxer to help flush out the real killer. With Nelson's unseen assistance, Costello reluctantly goes into the ring as "Lou the Looper" for one of the most hilarious fight sequences ever filmed.

A&C Meet the Invisible Man is a kind of a sequel to the original, but told through comedy instead of horror. In my opinion, it's not quite as entertaining or funny as A&C Meet Frankenstein. This film is almost more police/crime drama with an invisible guy using his transparency and some bumbling sidekicks to clear his name. BTW, while the story is fairly straightforward, the ending to this film is really weird and makes no sense.

I like Abbott and Castello movies and shows since I was a kid. I liked this movie except that the captions kept interrupting me and I know it was built into the movie.

Awesome. Love these two. Miss clean comedy like this. Wish my generation would make funny shows like this.
