About this movie

In this contemporary adaptation of Langston Hughes' acclaimed play, single mother Naima (Jennifer Hudson) sends her teenage son Langston (Jacob Latimore) to New York to live with his estranged grandparents, Reverend Cornell and Aretha Cobbs (Forest Whitaker and Angela Bassett). Once there, Langston embarks on a journey of self-discovery in this inspiring story of faith, family and forgiveness.

What a joke if a moive come out that said white nativity people would say that's so racist. But not if it black. Take BET if there was a WET channel that would be raci

But I kept watching, and it turned into a really great movie; once Forest and Angela (the SEASONED actors) came in. Wonderful ending.

Good movie with a typical plot but music score was awesome! Outstanding performances by the all star cast! Would definitely watch again and recommend.
