Generic found footage. 'Monsters' definitely look like rubber from the 80's - think Ghouls. The plot is barely there. It really fell apart when the 2 guys went to investigate the hole. Totally unrealistic (yes, I know it's a movie about monsters - but really)...decker's taped denial/plea, very unrealistic. People can tell he's being coerced. Overall, this is a college sophomore's film project designed to make money.

Really this idea had so much promise, but wow did it fall short. The concept was killer, but the end product really missed the mark. The last 15 minutes are tthe "scary" parts, but eh.

Not so much 'found footage' as it is 'mock documentary'. True horror and spook fans will appreciate the slow burn first act and really enjoy the tense second and third acts. Cynical tourists of the genre, however, sadly won't bother past the first 5 minutes. Their loss, I say.
