Can the perfect pebble help a bashful penguin find his true love? Based on the real-life mating rituals of the Adeli penguin in Antarctica, this "charming" (New York Times) animated adventure will warm your heart. Hubie (Martin Short) is a shy, romantic penguin who must find the courage to present his betrothal pebble to Marina (Annie Golden), the penguin of his dreams. Not alone in his pursuit of Marina, Hubie is nearly lost in a struggle with the villainous penguin, Drake (Tim Curry), who also has his eye on her. With the help of his cantankerous sidekick Rocko (James Belushi) -- a penguin who is determined to fly -- Hubie must battle against the elements and his enemies on the high seas to return to Antarctica and his sweetheart. But if Hubie does not present Marina with his precious pebble by The Full Moon Ceremony, she will be forced to accept the evil Drake as her mate...for life.
