About this movie

The Song follows aspiring singer-songwriter Jed King (Alan Powell) as he struggles to catch a break and escape the long shadow of his father, a country music legend. After reluctantly accepting a gig at a local vineyard harvest festival, Jed is love struck by local beauty Rose (Ali Faulkner), and a romance quickly blooms. Soon after their wedding, Jed writes Rose 'The Song,' which becomes a breakout hit. Thrust into a life of stardom and a world of temptation in the form of fellow performer Shelby Bale (Caitlin Nicol-Thomas), Jed's life and marriage begin to fall apart.

I dont understand why "christian" movies dont just come right out & say, "We do NOTHING on our own & Nothing is our own". Im glad this "inspired" some but honestly, seriously, if we lived by christian rule then we should all just do nothing at all, "He" does it all for you. Own your role, claim your accomplishments, celebrate what you did & believe you did it on Your Own. Its a true shame these actors will have to live with the mistakes of this movie. Trust, he owns that too. Thank him for the EPIC Fail

This movie was so amazing and sn eye opener. So many go through struggles but some are worse than others. I know what it's like to watch your husband throw his life away for women and addiction. It's the hardest thing to see the person you love most choose to deteriorate like that. This movie shines a light on that type of life and brings hope of all things for healing. The actors did an outstanding job and I hope for a sequel. Thank you to all who yook part in bringing forth this film.

This is possibly the worst movie I have ever seen. I laughed out loud several times when the "performers" overacted beyond belief. And the music! I have heard better from grammer school kids! I wish these preachy, "Christian" movies had to identify themselves somehow. I would then have avoided this travesty and be $5 richer.
