About this movie

They were after silver and they struck gold. - Financial wizard "Doc" Fletcher is sent by crime boss Joe Fiore to buy a bank in Switzerland in order to more easily launder their profits. Fletcher must pull out all his wheeler-dealing skills in order to keep together everything he's worked for and get the job done.

Silver Bears is one of those classic forgotten films from the seventies. Based on the Paul Erdman book of the same name, (with some deviations) it follows a Las Vegas 'mobster' purchase of a Swiss bank, an Iranian / Persian silver mine, the London silver market, and a certain amount of double crossing. Only slight let down is the digital presentation - previously butchered on past releases, the 16:9 screen and audio is improved, but is not quite up to normal Google Play standards.
