Natalie West, an accomplished Chicago theatre actress best known for her recurring role as Crystal on ‘Roseanne,’ delivers an incredible performance as an aspiring comedian in her fifties who strikes up a deep friendship with a much younger gay college student. There are definite shades of ‘Harold and Maude’ in this heartfelt and smartly observed comedy.
