She brings layers of complexity to her portrayal of Leah St. Aubyn, a seemingly sweet, wheelchair-bound stepmother of three children whose extreme jealousy and emotional neediness lead her to diabolically manipulate those around her, drawing the family into a vortex of duplicity, madness, and tragedy.
