S01:E01 - Eat
Musical character segments with Brobee, Toodee, Muno, Foofa and Plex feature songs “Party In My Tummy,” “Snacky Snack Snack” and “Try it, You’ll Like It” which teach that it is fun to eat healthy foods, and “Clean It Up” shows how to have fun while cleaning up a mess.
S01:E02 - Summer
The Gabba gang spends time outdoors with their friends to capture the happiness of summertime. During the songs “Bubbles, “Summertime” and “Jumpy Jump Jump,” the characters have fun doing different outdoor activities. At a pool party they learn to take turns on the slide during the “Wait Your Turn” song.
S01:E03 - Fun
The Gabba gang learns different ways to have fun. In the “Party In My Tummy” song, they learn to eat healthy foods such as eggs and fruit. The song “Body Music” teaches them how to use their bodies to dance and make music. Plex uses imagined worm creatures called the Sillies in the “Get the Sillies Out” song to teach that it can be fun to settle down. The characters explain to Plex the meaning of fun in the “What is Fun” song.
S01:E04 - Dance
The songs “I Like To Dance,” “Hold Still” and “Body Parts” celebrate a love for dancing, music and the virtue of holding still, while the song “I’m Sorry” shows the Gabba gang how to regain control and apologize after getting too excited.
S01:E05 - Sleep
The Gabba gang learns about the benefits of sleeping. The songs “Bedtime,” “Sleepytime” and “Dream” help the gang use their imaginations to think of good things while sleeping. The “Settle Down” song teaches how to have fun while getting ready for bed.
S01:E06 - Happy
The Gabba gang learns how to overcome moments of feeling sad while singing “Don’t Be Scared” and “Sometimes We Win, Sometimes We Lose.” The song “Hugs Are Fun teaches how to use hugs as a way to feel better. In “I’m So Happy” Foofa sings about things that make her feel good.
S01:E07 - Friends
The Gabba gang learns that friends can play a large part in how they feel about themselves and others. The songs “My Friends” and “High Fives” show the gang who their friends are and how they can have fun together. The songs “Hands to Yourself” and “My Turn, Your Turn” teach everyone how to appreciate and respect people.
S01:E08 - Careful
The Gabba gang learns about safety in the songs “Danger” and “Up and Down.” They also learn to pick themselves up and try again in the song “Shake It Off.” The song “Don’t Throw Things” shows that throwing balls or snow can be fun, but they must be careful.
S01:E09 - Scary
The songs “Don’t Be Afraid,” “I Like Bugs,” “Try It, You’ll Like It” and “Tiny Ugly Ger,s” teach the Gabba gang different ways to learn about and not be scared by new things.
S01:E10 - Halloween
It’s time for the Gabba gang to dress up in outrageous costumes and participate in the Halloween tradition of collecting candy. “The Fall Song” celebrates the changing seasons, while the “Halloween Party” song and “Trick or Treat” song teaches the gang what happens on Halloween. The “Too Much Candy” song teaches that candy should be eaten in moderation.
S01:E11 - Greetings
The Gabba gang learns how to greet people and create fun new ways to introduce themselves in the “What’s Your Name” song. Songs “Hello,” “Excuse Me” and “Say Goodbye” teach how to be friendly and polite.
S01:E12 - Move
The songs “Stop and Go” and “Nice and Easy” teach the Gabba gang how to maintain control. The song “Hands to the Beat” focuses on coordination. The song “Skippy Skip Skip”
S01:E13 - Together
Many times discovery is done individually, but in this episode the Gabba gang learns to discover with others. The songs “Eyes On My Face,” “Baby Steps, Big Steps” and “Teamwork” focus on learning about who you are, while still participate with others.
S01:E14 - Christmas
So much of Christmas is about receiving, but in this episode the Gabba gang learns about giving through the songs “Making Presents” and “For Me For You.” They celebrate winter and the holiday season in the songs “I Love Winter” and “Decorate the Tree.”
S01:E15 - Car
It’s time for the Gabba gang to go for a ride in a car. In the song “Keep Trying” they learn the importance of using seat belts. The song “Car Ride” explores the thrill of traveling and during the song “Danger,” the characters learn to stay away from the road when playing.
S01:E16 - Share
The Gabba gang learns about sharing by singing “Mine and Yours,” “Don’t Take it Away,” “Share,” and “Catch and Throw.”
S01:E17 - Find
Imagination leads to discovery as the Gabba gang uncover many things that may be different or frightening. The songs “I Like Fish” and “Woodpecker” encourage the characters to learn about different animals.
S01:E18 - Train
The song “Don’t Be Afraid” shows the Gabba gang how to overcome fears, while “Train Ride” and “Too Loud” teach them all about the joys of trains. In the “Share” song, the Gabba characters learn about the multiple parts of a train and how if they work together, they can make the train longer.
S01:E19 - Love
The Gabba gang sing “I Love You,” “I Love Flowers” and “Be Nice to Everyone,” and learn that it’s okay to love things like flowers, birds, animals and each other. The song “Keep Trying” encourages the characters to try their best.
S01:E20 - Imagine
The Gabba gang discovers how to use their imagination. The song “Pretend” emphasizes how pretending is such a big part of the imagination and a valuable lesson is learned in the song “Tell the Truth” which shows the difference between pretending and lying.
