Not bad, not great. I thought the sound design and score really stood out. The look and the atmosphere were there, but not the script or the story. I am not familiar with Scout Taylor-Compton enough to recognize her from other films I’ve seen. I particularly disliked both the character and actor who played her boyfriend. Given that he’s one of the two leads…that kinda puts a downer on the enterprise as a whole. Watch it when you’re bored on a weekend afternoon…not a terrible way to pass the time.

I liked the look, for a little while...who doesn't like antlers? I mean there are a lot of antlers in this movie. And raised arms. Antlers and arms. But there was no tension, no conflict, no plot, no depth, no mystery - no bueno. The best actor in the movie was the gas station owner, and he was in it for what, 2 min? I was honestly hoping and praying to some eldritch god for the Predator to show up and just smoke everyone.
