Now, whether it's Asmodeus or other demons, I generally really enjoy films about these demons. Last year there was a similar one called Dark Song. This film isn't as good as that one, but we still saw a much more creatively processed version of the cliché exorcism or cliché otherworldly connections in this production. I quite liked it, it was very entertaining. By the way, the manifestation of a demon into human life is not that easy. It doesn’t matter how special you are or if you’re the heir to some silly cult. That just doesn’t happen. You don’t have any special traits. There’s nothing like this in demonology, but of course, nonsensical things are written to advance the script. However, we obviously love all productions remotely related to Gnosticism. So, I really enjoyed watching this production.

I really liked it. But I always enjoy a classic demon child/antichrist story. Of course the subject has been done before, and done better, but this is still a really good movie. I’m also pretty fond of Emile Hirsch. Of course this isn’t on par with The Autopsy of Jane Doe, but once again Emile shows his horror movie acting chops. He’s fairly decent in this, as he is in most things. But the best acting is definitely done by the Son.

Adequate but not exceptional. Predictable but not unenjoyable.
