Ring
Directed by Hideo Nakata
A group of teenage friends are found dead, their bodies grotesquely contorted, their faces twisted in terror. Reiko, a journalist and the aunt of one of the victims, sets out to investigate the shocking phenomenon, and in the process uncovers a creepy urban legend about a supposedly cursed videotape, the contents of which causes anyone who views it to die within a week - unless they can persuade someone else to watch it, and, in so doing, pass on the curse...

i would have like this film if it has the english version.
It’s the mood and great storytelling that makes this a classic for a reason. Egg heads that want cheap jump scares will say it’s slow and boring. 🤷🏽:female_sign:
Without the Hollywood slickness of the remake, the original Ring is a scrappy, viscerally weird movie that hits you right in the subconscious.
Hell yeah
When I started watching, I realized that I had seen it before. However, I guess for whatever reason I may have not watched the whole thing, or it is just my senility blocking parts from memory LOL. Anyway, it is an awesome movie, like @Deanc says "so much better than the American version". I agree with that 100%, this is one of the creepiest shows that I have seen, there is just something about it. It is definitely a cult classic. The Japanese scenery also makes it an awesome movie. So yes, watch it, you will not be disappointed.
