Hector just moved into his dream home when he is attacked by a strange figure. He flees to a laboratory atop a hill. However, when he emerges from there moments later, he realises he traveled back hours in time, setting in motion a horrifying chain of events when he inadvertently runs into himself.

Nacho Vigalondo’s (Colossal) debut feature is a masterclass in ingenuity, conjuring sci-fi thrills with its no-budget, time travel narrative. Set in one location with no special effects, the film instead charms with its momentum and humor, bypassing metaphysical questions for pure pleasure.
