Our take
For his English-language debut, our favourite Spanish auteur Pedro Almodóvar teams up with Tilda Swinton for a loose adaptation of Jean Cocteau’s timeless play. Swinton delivers a spellbinding solo performance, in which vulnerability and despair turn into a monologue of magnificent obsession.
