The Osiris Child: Science Fiction Volume One

Pleasantly Surprised.... I loved it! This is a low budget indy sci-fi picture that really delivers. Sci-fi & fantasy are my go to genres but I can be picky. Especially when it come to low budget movies. So when I read the mixed reviews I had my doubts. However 5 minutes in and I was glad to be hooked. Begining to end it was a fun ride that I will do again. With this fantastic mix of styles, effects and good old fashioned props. I look forward to seeing more films from Shane Abbess. What this guy will do with a real budget is gonna blow our socks off for years to come!

To say the truth I was not expecting to be surprised and yes I am very much surprised in a very good way. If you like sci-fi movies then don't miss this one and believe me that you won't be disappointed. This is very well made movie, casting and play very well done, nice music, extremely good special effects and good story line. Only negative point I may give to this film is the look of the creatures which I wish would a bit more creative, new and acceptable than looking like giant turtles! In general, I really like this movie and I am glad that I spent my Friday night watching it.

A thoroughly enjoyable film. Great acting with some decent special effects. Actually took me off guard, as I was expecting something awful. Well worth a watch, possibly a purchase. I would wait for it to be on sale, but it is well worth $9.99 if it hits that mark
