I loved this film so much. I lived in Abania for all of 2020 in a farmhouse in the mountains and I taught English online to adults. This film is so accurate to the closeness teachers develop with students. And the types of personal things we end up telling each other. And the stuff we help each other through. The writing and the acting were spot on. And I loved that it was just the two actors seen on screen for the entire movie. I don't need stuff blowing up or explicit sex for a movie to be good. This character development was spot on. And their friendship was heartwarming.

5 minutes into the movie we thought the trailer we watched was misguiding. 25 minutes in, and it was clearly not what was anticipated. Nothing endearing, no connection to characters, the guy already speaks spanish fluently from the beginning. Not worth renting.
