About this movie
Based on the local legends and stories of people who've visited the real-life abandoned hospital, GONJIAM: HAUNTED ASYLUM follows the crew of a horror web show who plan to stream live from inside the asylum. To attract more viewers, the show's host arranges some scares for the team, but as they move further into the nightmarish old building, they begin to encounter much more than expected.

The characters in this movie are even more annoying than the guys on the Travel Channel. You should really only watch this if you want to see so-so Korean actors having constant hysterics over literally nothing happening.

Honestly, i actually enjoyed it. there were parts where i genuinely got spooked and paused the movie, because i was too chicken. highly recommend!

Nail bitingly scary. Had me frozen in a scare like it should. This found footage flick delievers great creepy buildup, with a simply terrifying climax. So creepy. And then boom, it just really scares. It may be scarier then Grave Encounters and I see Grave Encounters as the scariest film ever along with Circle, if so this tops Grave Encounters, even though yes that one is seriously scary like this one. Gonjiam is a well built film and a true scare rattler.
