Sweet Parents

I very much enjoyed this movie. It shows a love and hate relationship with New York and dives into the cost of ambition on a couple. At times the dialogue looks improvised which makes it very relatable. I watched it multiple times and was moved every time

This is an extremely well-acted and wonderfully written debut movie from David Bly. It’s a fascinating portrait of the desperation young broke creatives seek in NYC. The chemistry between Bly and Rudick is so believable you’d almost think they were together in real life. Highly recommend.
