I quite liked this movie. It covers a lot of abuse and pretty well. However there is a scene with Alexa Demi and Sunny Suljic that was really graphic and honestly triggering if you've been SA'd before. I wonder if that was scarring for that little boy at all. It really bothered me and I question the morality of a 30 year old kissing an 11 year old. Other than that it was a sad but nice coming of age about an abused little boy growing up in southern California. Give it a try but be advised.

Saw this on Amazon prime Video and I absolutely loved this film. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because the ending was kinda weird. It was pretty much a montage of all of the kids moments and it ends like that but I still enjoyed this film and it's nostalgic. Highly recommend giving this a watch.

Took me back to the days before we were all plugged in to everything. Captured the the mid 90s with the music, the feel, & the boarding. The ending left something to be desired though, other I would have rated this one a 5* for the nostalgic feeling it gave me.
