About this movie

Set in 1971, when the winds of war were blowing between India and Pakistan, Raazi – an adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s novel “Calling Sehmat” – is a true-life story involving a 20-year-old Kashmiri girl. Sehmat, a Delhi University student, is suddenly called back home to Kashmir by her parents. Her father Hidayat Khan, an influential businessman, has close ties with the Pakistani army. He has fixed Sehmat’s marriage with a Pakistani Brigadier's son. Hidayat Khan is also an asset for the Indian Intelligence and the real reason for Sehmat's marriage is a covert mission: Sehmat is to be sent as a spy into a Pakistani military family and source out all the information that she can get on Pakistan’s strategy in the impending war. Sehmat accepts her fate and is ready to do anything that is required for the country. Sehmat enters the new family and a new country on a mission for her motherland. CBFC U/A (DIL/2/134/2018-MUM)

It is very first picture mdae by Megha Gulzar for Hindi screen. Any ture Indian couldn't stop rolling tears while watching such emotional petrioc movies. I m refering Indian, who thinks NATION FIRST & not one who get instructions & play in the hands of enemies of India. Now voters of India First have very important role to play and give their support/ vote whiling looking at back track record of such leadership. Hope everything and decision of India First will be known on 23rd. May, 2019 .

Ridiculous execution. They were celebrating the feat from the beginning than build it up. Poor direction. Abs made a hash of what could have been a wonderful project. The icing being the ratings left by us Indians on imdb/rotten tomatoes. It's like a resounding slap on the face of an industry and people who could have seen top class standards. The era of black and white movies was so promising. Sigh.
