The Monster Squad

This movie came out the year after I joined the Navy so I wasn't necessarily the target market. This was the first time that I had watched it and have to admit that I really enjoyed it. Now, I watched it with my 10 yo daughter. She probably should be a little older, but I explain things to my kid. Your discretion. There is language and some scenes that probably will need some context by parents. I had to explain what a virgin is and how some things the boys did were not really appropriate. Some of the jokes were dated, but overall, if your watching and can lend context, then they should like it. My kid did.

I grew up watching this movie and spent years getting others to watch it as well. Everyone I have got to watch it, did not go away disappointed, they all loved it too. You should definitely check it out, it's totally worth it. Trust me. :)

Classic 80's edgy kids movie! I remember riding my bike to network video and getting this baby on VHS! My friends and I fell in love with this instantly. We had a scary German guy in our neighborhood and we had our own little club. This movie is basically Goonies meets the Universal Monsters with a little ghost busters style. It's a classic!
