The cast in this remake tries to do justice to this film but it falls far short of the original, starring Reynolds. As much as I like Sandler he just doesn't come across as an NFL QB. I really wish that Hollywood would learn from these weak remakes and come up with more original ideas.

Adam Sandler is a joke and it is just the typical low brow entertainment u expect from him. The original is one of the best football movies ever made and one of the rare decent performances from Reynolds.

The cinematography is nice and clean looking and the soundtrack is good, some of the football scenes are even pretty great, but the acting is not great (Except for Chris Rock) and the comedy is painfully unfunny
