If you’re watching this movie because you’re a fan of Tasya Tales and are practically salivating at the opportunity to see her cast in a major role for a movie that plays 90+ minutes long, I really think that you’re going to be more than happy with Break Even. Tasya’s performance is solid—I loved her “No F’s Given” attitude as Echo of The CW’s The 100, and she definitely carried a part of that attitude into the role of Jaq in this high-stakes adventure. What we get to see from Tasya in Break Even are shades of a lighter-hearted, thirsty for adventure as much as she is down to kick her feet up and enjoy the moment kind of girl. When there’s no time to hesitate, she doesn’t flinch or even blink an eye before springing to action. She excelled here, in displaying the kind of all-around force-to-be-reckoned-with, protective, balanced-heart-and-mind, sexy, aware individual I’ve been waiting to see from her.
