About this movie

Wendy, a part-time summer employee at a mountainous state park, takes on a rough trail assignment at the end of the season, trying to prove to her friends that she's capable enough to do the job. When she takes a wrong turn and ends up deep in the backcountry, she stumbles upon what might be a potential crime scene. Stuck with no communication after losing her radio and with orders to guard the site, Wendy must fight the urge to run and do the harder job of staying put - spending the night deep in the wilderness, facing down her worst fears and proving to everyone - including herself - that she's stronger than she thinks.

This movie was okay and I say only okay if it's free. I know price shouldn't factor into a review but for me it has to for this movie. The main character is so stupid with every single choice she makes. She does not make one single believable decision. The decisions she makes are so dumb that it becomes painfully obvious that the director just used her as a pivot point for which all his directing choices loosely hinged. There is no true direction to this movie. She tosses her radio off a cliff.

Not worth the cost. Watched on a hulu subscription and didn't mind it then. Not scary, just a mild mystery, really.
