About this movie

One spring day, toward the end of his senior year, Ferris gives in to an overwhelming urge to cut school and head for downtown Chicago with his girl (Mia Sara) and his best friend (Alan Ruck), to see the sights, experience a day of freedom and show that with a little ingenuity, a bit of courage and a red Ferrari, life at 17 can be a joy!

This movie is hilarious! The characters are very memorable and the jokes had me laughing right from the start thinking "if I could do what Ferris was doing, I would!' This movie's plot is driven and witted giving the viewer a sense that this will be an unpredictable journey. Ferris Bueller is such a memorable character for his wits and determination to skip school making it funny when all the other characters start a rally to raise money for him because he's "really sick". I'd recommend this to anyone who needs a quick throwback but also needs a comedy movie to watch.

Just an all time classic. If Ferris Buler were a high school student today he would still be cool. Glad to see a movie that proves that some things don't change like your younger siblings annoyingly getting away with everything and you hate them for it, but when worse comes to worse you still team up when it comes to family. Love this movie.

John Hughes' best films are narrowed down to Planes Trains and Automobiles and this one. Ferris Bueller does not disappoint me for one second. It is hysterically funny from start to finish and I live to the words "life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once and a while, you could miss it.' Those are words to live by.
