Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman

What a let down. Film missed out on recreating terrifying true crime in favor of condensed highly implausible/inaccurate situations that lead to cheese horror/thrill scenes. This movie was way different than anticipated. Not a serious horror movie, its really a wannabe Halloween style dumpster fire. Chad Michael Murray did a great job acting as the sadistic Bundy. The plot changes from try hard realistic to just off the rails stretch of the imagination aggravating bs. So many things wrong with this movie it's insulating to the intelligence of anyone who has read a Bundy book. Took a good cast and ruined the potential with a joke of a plot.

It is definitely not accurate in my opinion to this movie. Ted Bundy was caught when he got pulled over by Utah police patrolmen on a highway and his rape murder kit was found in the vehicle. Plus the movie skip parts around his killing spree which made it confusing in a story sense for the viewer. I think this movie is about some feminist propaganda of how police women were not treated equally as their male counterparts and not about Ted Bundy the boogey man story as the title stated. Some scenes were good with Ted Bundy killing scenes and his fantasies with the mannequins were good in this movie.

Absolute waist of time and money.
