About this movie

In Cinemas Now. Inspired by the incredible true story, Eddie The Eagle is the feel-good British comedy of the year. Michael "Eddie" Edwards (Taron Egerton), is the unlikely but courageous British ski-jumper who never stopped believing in himself - even as an entire nation was counting him out. With the help of a rebellious and charismatic coach (played by Hugh Jackman), Eddie takes on the establishment and wins the hearts of a nation by making an improbable and historic jump at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. From the producers of Kingsman: The Secret Service, Eddie the Eagle stars Taron Egerton as Eddie, the lovable underdog with a never say die attitude. Adored by critics and audiences alike, Eddie is the hilarious comedy that will warm your heart this year. 2016 Lionsgate International UK Ltd. in the UK and related territories. All Rights Reserved.

Absolutely loved this funny, warm affectionate take on the Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards story. I'd highly recommend this as a movie to sit down and enjoy with the whole family.

Watched this movie with my sons ( 9 yrs & 7yrs) its absolutely brilliant. Great movie explaining about never giving up and chasing your dreams . There is some reference about alcohol abuse , but that was quickly explained to them ( and forgotten). We searched Youtube for the original video's of the 90 meter jump after the movie .. equally great . ;o} . Very enjoyable movie .
