I love this movie first of all because I was born the year it was released..And it captures the essence of Black youth in the late 80s!! It's a film I like to watch to remember how things were back then, times seemed so much more fun and joyous during that era compared to now..I give Mr. Lee an A+!!!

This movie is important for everyone to see at least twice. First time to get a feel and second time to truly analyze what spike lee was saying!

One of my fave spike lee joints! I went to the movies with sum friends in midtown Manhattan to see this classic the year it came out and guess who was two rows behind us parallel enjoying the movie? Tisha Campbell! Those were the days!
