More Magic than Steampunk. Visually, this movie was pretty to watch. The story was not as flushed out as I wished it could of been, and I wonder if this was a novel because I'd very much love to read it. The one huge downside is that the voice over acting is obviously off. Eddie Marsan seemed to be the only actor that didn't have his voice replaced in the final audio editing and it shows. I would much rather have watched it in a foreign language and had subtitles because the voices didn't even suit the actors. (and I'm pretty sure two of the prop items were Harry Potter movie paraphernalia)

The sound quality for the movie, is extremely poor, and ever-changing. The storyline has promised, but overall it didn't land. It's not a movie I'd ever suggest someone watch. Or pay for. It's quite distracting, when the sound is so bad.
