The X-Files: I Want To Believe

There were 2 types of X-Files episodes; the "monster of the week" episodes, and the eps that focussed on the overarching narrative. The previous film tied Seasons 5 and 6 together, and focussed on the overall arc. This film was a standalone MOTW ep, but in film form. It didn't feel like it pushed the story of the characters any further, and kind of feels like a script where Mulder and Scully were shoehorned in as a cash grab. Stick with the previous film and the TV series.
