The World to Come

chemistry and yearning was palpable, Katherine waterton and Vanessa Kirby did a fantastic job. The score was a perfect accompaniment and the poetic writing was so lovely. It felt true to how they used to write and talk in those days. Loved the simplicity of it and the acting was so good that it didnt feel slow or boring at all. The ending though seemed like the writers knew about the boring and unoriginal bury your gays trope and tried to soften the blow after writing just that.

This is was so boring mostly of it was yap yap yap we need to do this yap yap even towards the end no action no excitement none of the above, try to hard to like broke back mountain but a epic failed lol

Lesbians are winning!!! This is a beautiful love story. At times, I felt like I was intruding on intimate moments between these two. Their intensity, connection and tenderness is deep. I love how playful they are with each other. This was NOT geared towards the male gaze and it's apparent in the pace and content of the scenes. The way they interact with each other, their soft gazes, their light touches, the way they long to be close to each other is pretty spot on in my experience. It was perfect!
